The Man Of Lists – Profiles 7 – Gwildor
When I began working with Nottingham’s Folkwit Records I remember that Gwildor were one of the first bands on the label that I heard. I was well impressed by their sound and by Andy’s voice. Since then we’ve done a gig together and stayed in touch. Gwildor are the 7th band to have contributed their skills to the new Pulco album ‘The Man Of Lists’ which comes out on the 18th June
Gwildor are a 6-piece indie/folk/acoustic band from Wrexham, North Wales. They released their ‘Shattered Fragments’ EP through Folkwit Records in 2005.
They released their debut album Tales From A Town through Folkwit on 11 September 2007.
Their influences include Belle and Sebastian, Leonard Cohen, The Beach Boys, and the West Wales coast. They’ve played the Green Man festival and are Radio Wales favourites.

- Pulco music is home-recorded lo-fi experimentalism - observational, poignant and at times laugh out loud funny. It includes poetry, found sound, ambient noise as well as songs deftly performed with little more than voice and guitar.
